How To Download and Install Plugins

All of the Plugin Pages have a link to download the plugin. Typically, it will look like this:

Download: hello_world.rb

To download the plugin, right-click on the link to the .rb file.

hello_world.rb <<-- Right-click and select "Save Link As" or "Save Target As" to save the file to your computer.

Once saved, move the file to your SketchUp/Plugins folder. The default locations of the Plugins folder is:

for Windows:
C:\Program Files\Google\Google Sketchup 6\Plugins\

for Mac:
Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 6/SketchUp/

To activate the plugin, close and restart SketchUp.
