I think this is actually pretty sad compared to everything the people at SCF has done. They have made some really good plugins that can push sketchup to new heights.
OOS, FFD, JPP, Subdivide and smooth, SU physics, componant spray, playup, path copy, soapskin bubble, protrude, vray.
There are so many good plugins out there, Im sure I'm forgetting a bunch.
These paid and dedicated guys put... the warehouse in the compnant browser... woopty doo. I really hope these guys actually looked at the SU7 wishlists out there. They have a lot to live up too.
I, myself, doubt I switch to this in fear of losing all the awesome stuff the guys made at SCF
I'm TOTALLY agreed with you! I've just played around a bit with 7 and, I'm really speechless. Is this were I've been waiting for? No multi-core support, no extra whatsoever...
Google wants Sketchup to become something else than we want it to be...
